MINUTES OF MEETING

The meeting was started at exactly 2:30 in the afternoon with the singing of the
Philippine National Anthem led by Sir Ronald Miranda followed by a short prayer led by
Rosevida Caday. It was then followed by the discussion of the school planning which was
thoroughly discussed by Mam Karen Miranda, the TIC/School Head of Talisay ES. Salient
points were discussed inclusive of the participation and responsibilities of the internal and
external stakeholders on the planning, crafting and implementation of possible projects for the
improvement of the school itself and the learners. It was reiterated that the stakeholders have a
crucial role on the success of any vision that the school may have. Resource of funds such as
MOOE and liquidation process was also discussed during the meeting. Other resources were also
tackled such as initiatives from stakeholders and Income Generating projects. It was also noted
that the stakeholders were thankful because it was the first time that that they knew that they
were part of the formulation of the SIP and that they have a big role in shaping the improvement
of the school. They were also excited to know that their ideas meant a lot in implementing the
envisioned growth of the school.
Ample time was given to clarify some queries and drawing of observations and
suggestions. The session adjourned at around 4:30 in the afternoon with the recital of their
pledge of commitment to the plans of the school and the community.
In general, the said meeting was considered successful and promising for the
development of the entire learning community.

MINUTES OF MEETING
The meeting was started at exactly 2:30 in the afternoon with the singing of the
Philippine National Anthem led by Sir Ronald Miranda followed by a short prayer led by
Rosevida Caday. It was then followed by the discussion on identifying the priority improvement
areas based on the identified needs of the school which was thoroughly discussed by Mam Karen
Miranda, the TIC/School Head. The discussant showed first the status of the entire school and its
learners. Then the participants gave their suggestions and recommendations on which areas
should be prioritized based on the urgency and level of effect on the teaching and learning
situation. The following is a list of suggestions and recommendations on areas to be given
priority improvement:
 Concreting of pathways – the school`s pathways are identified as dangerous
based on the Hazard map of the school which poses threat to all people entering
the school premises. A concrete pathway will be constructed fram the entrance
roughly 6-10 meters long, then a connecting pathway going to the Marcos type
rooms roughly 10-15 meters long( to be done through the Monthly Brigada
Eskwela Plus and Initiatives from the stakeholders)
 Construction of a perimeter fence as part of securing the properties of the school
(to be done through the monthly Brigada Eskwela plus)
 Construction of school recreational facility composed of all steel slide, swing and
see-saw as part of the beautification project (IGP)

Ample time was given to clarify some queries and drawing of observations and
suggestions. The session ended at around 4:30 in the afternoon with smile in the face of everyone
and a vision of a more functional and beautiful school.

MINUTES OF MEETING

The meeting started with the usual preliminary routine. Mam Pauleen Anne Banaag led the
singing of the Philippine National Anthem followed by a short prayer led by Jennylyn Rosana, the GPTA
Public Information Officer. A short ice breaker was done led by Mam Rowena Ragos.

The first agendum was discussed by Mam Karen Miranda by presenting the suggested activities
that will be done during the Nutrition Month program. She discussed each activity and the necessary
things to be done including the flow of the entire program. The following activities are the suggested and
agreed activities to be done and prepared for:

1. Before the program


a. Preparation of Nutrition Booth by grade level( to be done a day before the celebration
proper.)
b. Decide on what native delicacy to be cooked for the cook fest
2. During the program
a. Parade (7:30-8:00 am) all participants should wear their designated color decorated with
nutritious foods
b. Short program (8:30-9:30)
i. Each grade level will present an intermission number which is relevant to the
celebration theme(nutrition)
c. Evaluation and judging of best booth (9:30-10:00)
d. Start of Cook Fest (10:00-11:00 am)
e. Boodle Fight (by grade level)

It was also suggested and agreed upon that a certain amount will be given to the winners in the Cook Fest
and Best Booth competition. Fund for the rewards will be solicited from identified personalities.

After several clarifications and reiterations, the meeting was adjourned by the chairman at 4:30 in the
afternoon and was considered a success.
