DENVERT ROLAND D. CUA, GE2 (374), Quiz 2
Cua
Course: GE2 (374)
In 100-200 words, fill in the table based on your chosen motions. You may choose to
support the motion (affirmative) or go against it (opposition).
Motion 2: This house would make a nationwide public list of sexual offenders
Point I believe that making a nationwide public list of sexual offenders
should implement. I do believe by the words of Seneca: “The
offender can sometimes escape punishment, but not the fear of
that”. Which means, sexual offenders must be punished by there
wrongdoings and be haunted by the ghost of it.
Reason According to the research, sexual offenders most likely target the
children. More than 70% of sexually abused children are between
10 and 18 years old. Among those victims, 20% are under 6 years
old.
Example If nationwide public list of sexual offenders would be made, people
would be aware and would have the knowledge to know who are
those sexual offenders in order to have an advantage to protect
themselves and other people, especially the youth.
Point I strongly agree to make a nationwide public list of sexual offenders.
After all, children are the face of the future, we must protect them.
