RESOLUTION NO. 03- S- 2020

A Resolution Appointing NORIEL A. LEGASPI as BARANGAY INFORMATION OFFICER of

BARANGAY MOLINO II, CITY of BACOOR, CAVITE Effective February 03, 2020

WHEREAS, the BARANGAY INFORMATION OFFICER play an important role in the

development and progress of the barangay.  It is one of the implementing mechanisms of
the Barangay;

WHEREAS, Chapter 2, Section 387 (b) of the Local Government Code provides that the
Sangguniang Barangay may form BARANGAY INFORMATION OFFICER and create such other
positions or offices as may be deemed necessary to carry out the purposes of the barangay
government in accordance with the needs of public service, subject to the budgetary
limitations and personal services prescribed under Title Five, Book II of this Code.

WHEREAS, the Punong Barangay appoints BARANGAY INFORMATION OFFICER as maybe

necessary to carry out the purposes of the barangay government in accordance with the
needs of public service, subject to the budgetary limitations of the barangay.

WHEREFORE, the Council has full faith and confidence on the appointment given to the
person to assume responsibility for all the acts as the BARANGAY INFORMATION OFFICERS:

NOW, THEREFORE, WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE BARANGAY COUNCIL, BARANGAY MOLINO
II, CITY OF BACOOR, CAVITE, RESOLVE, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the names
stipulated above be the appointed BARANGAY INFORMATION OFFICER effective February
03, 2020 up to the time that the Punong Barangay may revoke their appointment due to
valid reasons.
