INTEGRATIVE ASSESSMENT PERFORMANCE TASK

Focused subject:
AGRICULTURE
For modular learners:
The learners are required to monitor pest incidence and submit a WRITTEN REPORT discussing
monitoring of pest incidence based on the prescribed procedure.

GOAL: To write a written report that discusses monitoring of pest incidence based on the prescribed
procedure.

ROLE: Students as an automotive technician, safety officer and a writer

AUDIENCE: Grade 12 learners, teachers, neighbors and family.

SITUATION: In a nearby rice field, Grade 12 students are tasked to showcase their interpretation and
understanding of the topic “Types of Pests”. They are to create use their own improvised farm field
tools (net, sticky traps and etc.) and an information sheet will be provided by the teacher.

PRODUCT: Learners are expected to demonstrate proper engine compression testing, how they can make a
written report based from the results of testing, reading, interpretation, analysis, conclusions, and
recommendation. They are also tasked on how they will incorporate real-life using their analysis,
conclusions, and recommendation.

STANDARD: The students will be assessed thru these guidelines:


 identification of tools, materials and equipment;
 coverage of topic;
 correct reading and interpretation of results;
 provide a corresponding recommendation/prescription based on test result;
 observing safety at all times;
 organization; sentence and structure following the rules in grammar; and computation of
test result; list of pest and diseases.
