Path to the New Model
Safeguarding existing customers’ implementations

• Current Models (‘account-based’ models) continue to work as before

• Customers can choose to opt-in to the New Model at their own pace

• Converted Models can continue to using the account-based model structure if appropriate

• Conversion of existing models possible with initial release (QRC2). Certain limitations for
conversion apply:
• Only data and master data are converted
• Dependent artefacts (data wrangling, data actions, stories, etc.) need manual conversion

• Following functional limitations apply with the initial release:

• Advanced Planning Features: allocations, VDT will be supported later (QRC3).
• Calculations: Accounts as filters in RESTRICT and LOOKUP measure formulas and vice versa
• Stories: Geo map and Variance charts not supported
