There has always been the controversy about which era was better.

These
conversations went on for years especially when they talk about the music taste, the
fashion taste, and the eras similarities. Maybe you might know some stuff from your
grandparents or even your parents, but not everyone talks much about stuff in the
70s,80s, or even the 90s and how they differ from the 2000s.For this reason today we
are going to tell you about some ideas you should know.

First, let's start talking about how music was so different in these generations. The 70s
had a very weird aesthetic. The disco started rising, Jazz and soul were very popular,
Rock also played an important part, some of the singers were: David bowie, led
zeppelin. Lot of subgenres of rock (progressive, hard, punk, heavy metal) achieved
success and Hip pop emerged. The 80s was somewhat different because new songs
were popular for their nice beat for dances examples: kajagoogo, wham!, Smooth jazz
gained popularity. The 90s wasn’t very different from the 80s but hip-hop became more
popular. some of the most famous singers in the 1990s were; The Spice Girls, Mariah
Carey, Madonna, Boyz II Men, Tony Braxton. Most songs these days use autotune to
make them sound better, but in old generations they didn’t have any of that so that’s
why they sounded better and you knew their sound was pure.in the 2000s technology
became very modern so many listens to music easily and YouTube was introduced.
Most famous singers are; Eminem, Alicia keys, Beyonce, Rihanna, Kanye West, Green
Day.

Second, obviously the clothing style was very different than now, but many people try to
return many styles or trends in older generations. the 70s had many trends back then,
some of the essentials were; wide-leg jeans and floral maxi's, wedged heels, chunky
turtlenecks, and band tees. while in the 80s they wore; mom jeans and sequins,
shoulder pads, oversized blazers, and mish-mashing colors. some '90s essentials were;
grunge and sportswear, denim, and slip dresses. Well, you might ask how is it so
different from the 2000s so this article is telling you that its very different in many ways
like they wear denim miniskirts, whale tail, hip-huggers, boot-cut jeans, tank-tops, ripped
jeans, hoodies, cargo pants, white belts, cropped jackets, capris, infantile dresses,
boho-chic, and Crocs. These trends started growing a lot in 2007 and they are still a
thing. If you go to a fashion show you might notice how brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton,
Prada, Chanel, and Dior might try to bring back trends from the older era but they would
still name it on the year it was an actual trend or something they used to wear on a day-
to-day basis.
Third, now let's talk about how these generations are very similar. Many people are
trying the old styles or trends to be trendy for example, they try to change their houses
and homes to look like they lived in the 70s or 80s because they love how they used to
live. Many people dress like they live in the old days because before the 2000s they
always looked fancy or they had better clothing. Many brands try to sell old products like
furniture, paintings, clothing, makeup, and much more. What people is trying to say is
that the amount of people trying to go back in time and live how old generations used to
live is incredible.

At last, we are first and foremost human beings who wants to be respected and
appreciated for who we are. Generations are based on collective experiences and not
everyone who falls into that category can relate to their generation. No matter what
generation we fall into, we are all unique.
