I. OBJECTIVES OF THE LESSON
1. Language focus
- To provide learners some vocabulary related to the topic of ASEAN
2. Skills
- To promote Ss to develop their reading skills
- Skim the text to get the general idea
- Scan the text to get some specific details
3. Attitudes
- To encourage Ss to work harder
- To provide Ss some motivation
- Respect ASEAN countries and their diverse cultures.

1. Lack of knowledge about ASEAN → Let students watch a video: introduce the
members, the flags of those countries,...Read text in textbook, answer the question to
know more ASEAN.
2. The class has many students make noise → Organize activities to attract student’s
attention, remind students
3. Ss sometimes have difficulties in expressing their ideas in English→ Allow them to
speak Vietnamese if necessary.
