Instructional Procedures:

Day 1:
The class starts with some singing to get the children active. The instructor then asks the children to talk about picture
and images. It will be exciting to have some of the students explain some of their favorite images which could include
family photographs. After around 14 mins the class can take a five-minute break by singing another song. After the
break, the teacher starts explaining to the students the importance of picture and images in saving memory and
communicating. They should understand that images are words.
Day 2:
The teacher starts off with an activity such as a funny short story. The next thing is the teacher to project some
cartoon characters for the children to identify. The images should relate to common cartoons. The children should
identify the images as they try to mention some of the basic facts about the characters. That should go on for fifteen
minutes before taking a break. After the break the children are taught that the images have helped them in
identifying important things in life. They should be taught that images play a more critical role in life. They should
then be asked to mention some ways they think images are used.

Day 3
The next class will involve teaching the students to use tabs and an app with which they can scroll through images. The
teacher will take time to demonstrate how it is done on the blackboard. Since it will be an extensive process, it will take
up half of the class. The second half of the class will involve the students trying to do it for themselves. The teacher
should move around the class for the rest of the class trying to show those struggling to work on their access.
Day 4
The final lesson will be interactive. It will start with a song to stimulate the learners. In the first half of the lesson the
students will try to find logos of companies the teacher has on the board on their tablets or laptop, iPads. The students
should try and say what the logo represents. After fifteen minutes they go on a break after which they start identifying
some stop signs they often see. They can be asked randomly about what they think the signs mean. The search for the
logo within the tablet or laptop, iPad should be fun.

The students can access the website to find a long collection of photographs. It has many categories from animals to
food. It is appropriate since it has many images which the students can identify.

Differentiated Instructional Support:

The students that will find it challenging in class will be encouraged to go through the classwork at home. They will be
given some tasks to go through while at home then asked to identify those images on the next day during class. That
will encourage them to further explore the topic they are learning.
