An event coordinator, you should be neat and orderly and have a good knowledge of vendor
management. Excellent communication and attention to detail skills are essential in this role, as
our success depends on meeting our client’s customized requirements. Because of this depends
the good outcome of the event and this is also what your client definitely expects. They have
important responsibilities to make an event they serve successful.

Responsibilities of Coordinator

Define client requirements and expectations for each event.


Interact with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to
make sure everything is in order.
Manage all event set up, wrecking, and follow-up processes.
Keep event budgets.
Book areas, hobbies, photographer, and schedule speaker.
Conduct a final inspection on the day of the event to make sure everyone is following the
client’s standards.
Evaluate the overall success of an event and submit findings.

Why is Event Coordinator important

 Event coordinators, also known as event specialists or event planners, are responsible for
every aspect of event planning.
 Their primary duties include selecting venues, determining cost, arranging event services,
and tracking client approval.
 They can work for an events company or as a contractor.
 They are the ones who make the plan easier for those who want to hold the event because
with their help their client's stresses about the event are avoided just like in the video
shown, through the coordinators their client becomes stress free.
Through the skills of event coordinators it becomes faster and easier for them to hold or manage
an event because they already have the skills in this job. They already know what to start from
planning the flow of an event to the very end and when it comes to unexpected events that cause
the event to disrupt, they are always ready, they have solutions in place so that it does not get
worse and they will catch up immediately. With the help of their unity they can do this more
easily because they work and work together in a company.
