WHY IMPACT
LA PLATA
La Plata is a big city full of students, as one of the biggest public
universities is there. It’s known as “La ciudad de las diagonales”,
because of its distinctive pre-designed diagonal streets.

La Plata is home to over 600 000 people, of which more than

250 000 cannot afford their basic needs, and around 30 000 are
under the indigence line (that is, they can’t cover the basic food

Our
projects
The Sustainable Development Goals are aimed
at eradicating poverty, protecting the planet
and ensuring prosperity for all as part of a new
sustainable development agenda.

Each objective has specific goals that must be

achieved in the next 15 years.

To achieve these goals everyone has to do

their part: governments, the private sector, civil
society and non-governmental associations.
Youth 4 Global Goals is an AIESEC Initiative
through which we aim to mobilize youth towards
the implementation of the Sustainable
Development Goals.

Our initiative aims to educate youth about the

SDGs and provide practical volunteering
opportunities to unleash their potential while
being an active world citizen.
About the project
Trampolin contributes to reduce poverty in
Argentina by focusing on children and young
people between 0 and 15 years of age.

It consists of providing support on issues related

to health, access to information, protection
against violence and the importance of free
time.

We work directly with children and young

people accompanied by their families through
practical workshops.
About the project
EducAr is a cooperation of AIESEC with various
organizations to facilitate access to care services
and develop a quality education that is inclusive
for early childhood, in socioeconomically
vulnerable populations.

By complementing the knowledge of the first

grades of teaching with school support and
promoting the learning of rights and values
through playful and recreational activities that
are stimulating for children.
About the project
The Andes Way aims to strengthen the
development of the third sector institutions in
Argentina, to increase its impact in a sustainable
way; with the participation of different actors
that mobilize and exchange knowledge,
specialization, technology and financial
resources management.
About the project
PACHA MAMA means "mother earth" is a project
whose objective is to adopt measures to combat
climate change and its effects. It seeks to improve
education, awareness and human and institutional
capacity on mitigation of climate change,
adaptation, the reduction of impact and early
warning.

This project aims to provide education on the

consequences of climate change. Through
workshops on the subject, seeks to activate
environmental responsibility and stimulate the
development of entrepreneurial projects to mitigate
their effects.
