Instructional Designer
Are you a creative individual with strong English writing and communication skills and with a passion for
teaching and/or training who can envision and create engaging learning design solutions? At Learning
Design Services (LDS), we design content to help our professionals learn. As an Instructional Designer in
the Learning Design Services team, you will design and develop learning solutions based on the client’s
requirements, desired learning outcome, and the processes that we follow. At Deloitte, you’ll gain

Work you’ll do
The Instructional Designer works on researching, analyzing, designing, and developing customize
instructional materials for learning solutions. The Instructional Designer applies various instructional
strategies, models, and theories, and works with different types of input material to create instructional
content. The Instructional Designer visualizes content and works with Graphic Designers in the
development of graphics, animations, and so on. The Instructional Designer uses templates in
developing instructional materials and ensures client satisfaction with all services and deliverables. The
Instructional Designer will need to:
• Analyze instructional design project requirements and work with the PM around scope and
solution
• Design and develop learning deliverables using common tools and templates
• Create storyboards and design specifications to be used for content development
• Develop training materials associated with the project such as instructor guides, participant
guides, hands-on activities, handouts, diagrams and pictures, job aids and self-study materials
• Provide regular updates to project manager
• Escalate any issues affecting timeliness or scope of instructional design/development project
• Collaborate with subject matter experts
The Role
We are looking out for Instructional Designers in India with instructional design expertise, especially
around eLearning, experiential learning, and virtual learning. The Instructional Designer is responsible
for writing content, designing, and developing learning solutions to address and enhance performance
throughout the organization. This professional will be creating storyboards and other learning assets
which help in building learning solutions to meet business needs.

Preferred:
• Possess a flexible work style and be able to work beyond the normal schedule during
peak periods in order to meet deadlines
• Work effectively, with minimal day-to-day supervision, and within a team environment
to significantly contribute to the success of the team
• Keen on exploring new tools and technologies. Sharing knowledge with team members
• Possess a client-service mindset and a desire to take on tough and challenging projects
• Pro-actively investigate and mitigate risks, coordinating with team members and others
to resolve issues, and escalate issues as necessary
• Capable of learning new tools and software
• Knowledge of the basics of instruction design, various Instructional strategies, models
and theories
