The development of early telegrams eradicated other forms of long-distance

communication, for instance, smoke signals, drums, and pony express. Telegraphs utilized

semaphore lines for the transmission of messages. Introduction of electricity ushered in a new

epoch of long-distance communication. Inventors incorporated electricity to develop advanced

telegrams with improved speed and efficacy. Early 19 century welcomed development of a

radical telegraph that used electromagnetic principles to propel messages. Still, in 19 centuries,

Alexander Graham created a telephone ushering in a new era of voice and sound. Long-distance

have encouraged land development, increased pollution and depletion of natural resources.
