IMS552 Course Work Assessment

1. Assignment 1 – 15%

Computer Based Information Systems (CBIS) + Infographic

Students should describe what is CBIS and identify with example the elements or components of
CBIS. Description of CBIS should not less than 5 pages and summarize the discussion with 1 page of
CBIS infographic. Students may refer to different reference materials and electronic resources.
Submit electronic format of the works not later than 30th April 2021. No printed version is required.

Discussion – 10%
Infographic – 5%

2. Assignment 2 – 15%

Refer to any 5 journal articles pertaining to the importance of IS in our daily lives. Journal articles
should be published between year 2010-2021. Review and summarize each selected article and your
works should not less than 5 pages. Attach with your works, the 1 st page of the article as a proof of
articles referred. Students should submit their e-assignments not later than 31st May. No printed
version is required.

Summarization – 10%
Appendices of Articles – 5%

3. Group Project – 40%

e-Document report – 30%

e-Presentation – 10%

Date of submission – on or before (30th June 2021)

4. Final Test – 30%

Cover all topics and issues related to IMS552.

Actual date of online test (schedule to be – in mid of July 2021) will be announced later.
