The Competition Commission of India (CCI) ordered an investigation contrary to the multinational technology company,
Google, for mistreating its dominant position. Accusations of abuse of dominance under Section 4 and the CCI's prima
facie opinions are;

be ordered on this count. Thus, CCI discharged this allegation.
4. Eminent placement of Google Pay on the Play Store
No investigation can be held on the basis of proclamations made by the Informant which are neither verified nor
validated in any manner.
5. Search advertisement subterfuge on the Play Store
The sheer accusations in the form of screenshots which are not reinforced/substantiated, cannot be the basis for
initiating an antitrust inquiry. Thus, CCI dismissed this allegation as well.
6. Exclusivity Requirement Imposed by Google Lead to in Unfair Terms Being Levied on Operators
The Commission stated that acquiescence with the sectoral procedures by an any structured unit has to be examined
by the concerned regulator and the said is not a competition matter. Thus, CCI discharged this allegation too.
