VIII. DISTANCE LEARNING POLICIES

1. The video conference platform (Zoom/Google Meet/Microsoft Teams) will be opened and will start accepting attendees 5 minutes before the scheduled class.
2. Once accepted, please mute your microphone and unmute it once your attention is called by the professor.
3. You may turn off your camera during the discussion to conserve your data allotment and turn it on when your attention is called by the professor or when posing a
question, comment, or clarification.
4. Virtual attendance will be checked. A 15-minute time allotment will be given as a grace period to be in the virtual class, but the discussion will start at the
scheduled time.
5. Failure to be accepted in the virtual class from the given grace period will mean that you are absent.
6. If you have questions/clarifications/comments about the lecture, please use the “hand” emoticon and wait for your name to be recognized.
7. Be in your smart dress when attending the virtual class and look for a place where you can be comfortable and be focused during the online discussions.
8. Active and interactive participation is highly encouraged during online discussions, observing proper and ethical manners carefully.
