Chapter 1 – SELEX DVOR 1150A

1.1. Operational procedure

1.1.1. Switching ON

a) Turn on both AC switches.

b) Turn on DC switches in the BCPS assemblies.

c) Turn on the battery circuit breakers.

d) The system will perform the initialization, delay 20 seconds and then start transmitting.

1.1.2. Switching OFF

a) Logout of the PMDT by selecting: System>>Logoff/Disconnect.

b) If the DVOR is currently in the non-standard mode of operation, the user will be
prompted to correct the issues before continuing with the logoff.

c) Turn off both DC circuit breakers.

d) Turn off both AC circuit breakers.

1.2. Preventive Maintenance

 Keys (Vehicle, Shelter, Road gates)

1.2.1.2. Equipment/Tools Needed

1.2.1.3. Coordination

a) Inform the CNSSO shift supervisor/shift members before leaving the station.
b) Call Air Traffic Control to cross runway.

1.2.1.4. Safety precaution/activity


a) Check the Vehicle for Road Worthiness. (Fuel, Brakes, Lights, Oil, water, signal lights etc.)
b) Check the Radio battery if not low power, if its transmission and reception are ok.
c) Wear proper attire shoes and protective gloves.
d) Open the main door using the specified key.
e) Upon entering the equipment room, switch on the room lightings.
f) Check for abnormalities in the environment (such as smell, wet floor, debris, sounds,
temperature, etc.).
g) Inform of any abnormalities observed, if any.

1.2.1.6. Post safety precaution/activity
a) Make sure all equipment switches/settings are back to their original position prior to PM
activities.
b) Check for abnormalities in the environment (such as smell, wet floor, debris, sounds,
temperature, etc.).

1.2.1.7. Post coordination activity


a) Advise supervisor/shift members on duty that the PM activity is already done.

1.2.1.8. Culmination
a) Check and inventory tools and materials used in the activity.
b) Record your activity on PM logbook.
c) Record your activity on PM ERC.
d) Before leaving, check again for abnormalities in the environment (such as smell,
wet floor, debris, sounds, temperature, etc.).
e) Switch off lighting.
f) Make sure that the station main door is locked.
g) Let the shift supervisor sign the PM form if needed.

etc.)

b) Check the Radio battery if not low power, if its transmission and reception are ok.
c) Wear proper attire shoes and protective gloves.
d) Open the main door using the specified key.
e) Upon entering the equipment room, switch on the room lightings.
f) Check for abnormalities in the environment (such as smell, wet floor, debris, sounds,
temperature, etc.).
g) Inform of any abnormalities observed, if any.

1.2.2.5. PM Procedures
1.2.2.5.1. Shelter/Equipment General Cleaning
1.2.2.5.2. Check/Clean Air Conditioning Filters
1.2.2.5.3. Transmitter Cabinet Inspection

1.2.2.6 Post safety precaution/activity


a) Make sure all equipment switches/settings are back to their original position prior to PM
activities.
b) Check for abnormalities in the environment (such as smell, wet floor, debris, sounds,
temperature, etc.).
1.2.2.7. Post coordination activity
a) Advise supervisor/shift members on duty that the PM activity is already done.
1.2.2.8. Culmination
a) Check and inventory tools and materials used in the activity.
b) Record your activity on PM logbook.
c) Record your activity on PM ERC.
d) Before leaving, check again for abnormalities in the environment (such as smell, wet
floor, debris, sounds, temperature, etc.).
e) Switch off lighting.

1.2.3.5.3. Inside and Outside of Fence Mowing
1.2.3.5.4. Around Field Monitor Mowing
