ACTIVITY #3

I believe that at least once in your life you have been able to exercise or had played some kind of
traditional games or sports. Base on your experiences, identify which principle it applies. And
explain how this particular exercise fall under this principle. (5 points each)

1. Individuality
I have used this principle last summer when I have decided to gain weight by doing a butt
workout. Because I have a slim body built I have to adjust my workout routine according to how
my body can carry it.
2. Specificity
Every time I play the basketball game at quantum I use this principle, because in playing a
basketball you have a goal and that is to shoot the ball on the ring.
3. Progression
I have applied this principle in playing “piko” because in piko in order to finish it you must do it
step by step.
4. Overload
In “luksong baka” your team will lose if one of you has a weak maximum capacity of body. I
have played this a couple of times before.
5. Adaptation
When I do the squat exercise at my first five minutes of doing minutes my muscles feel so tight
but after I repeat it for like 3 times it just feels like I am doing my regular activity.
6. Recovery
I have used this principle back when I was in grade 9, we were playing volleyball and I got my
left hand injured it eventually heal though after a couple of weeks.
7. Reversibility
I have used this principle when I was still doing a “running” game with my childhood friends. I
won’t make it to the finish line if I stop and didn’t continue to run.
REFLECTION
1. What are you proudest of in the work you have completed, and why?
When I did the Zuma a morning routine for 4 days haha because I am not the type of person to
do a certain physical activity every day.
2. What were some of the most challenging moments you experience in this module and what
made them so?
Every week activities where I have to do a certain physical activity hehe. I did them not just for
the sake of grades but for my body also so I can also engage to a physical activity.
