- It is a group of words

AND a verb.

There are TWO (2)

- An independent clause is a
group of words that CAN
stand alone as a sentence.

a COMPLETE

- It’s also called a “main clause”.

mark, or an exclamation point at
the end of an independent clause, it
will look like a complete sentence
