Module/Topic : MODULE 1/ EXPLAIN Date : 16/09/21

Instruction:

Before starting the sharing your ideas to the class, your group must answer the following
questions:

1. What have you learned or experienced from previous activity with your group mates

I learnt the importance of teamwork, time management, and willingness throughout the
groupwork that was assigned to us. I am really grateful for how cooperative and laid-back my
groupmates are. When our clinical professor provides us a new task, we always pose a question
to make sure we understand everything. Also, because we don't want heavy loads of work to
mount up. That’s why if our leader asks us to do something, we do it instantly. The second point
to consider is time management. When it comes to completing a requirement, time is indeed
precious. Although we are working in groups or in pairs to complete this assignment, we must still
manage our time carefully since we need to spend time researching, viewing videos if we don't
grasp the topic, and reading articles to completely comprehend the task.

Finally, I discovered the significance of willingness. To be honest, I barely know my

classmates or the group I'm in. They can simply mix and speak because some of them already
know one other. While some of us are still in the timid zone, usually speaking when prompted.
Now, when the group activities are given. The job must be disseminated as soon as possible in
order for us to begin working on the task. I learnt that if you have the ability and capacity to do the
work, I believe you should do so. I think that a person's willingness should be stimulated. As for
me, I was hesitant to approach them and volunteer to help because I was concerned that I might
give the incorrect impression. But, in the end, the random generator assigned me the work that I
most desired and the rest agreed to give the task to me. Another point I'd want to make with the
term willingness is that some people, in general. Simply do a job for the sake of submitting it. But,
luckily, I've been placed in a group with people who are all eager to do the work. Nonetheless,
even for this preliminary term, I am satisfied with the experiences I have had. And I'm hoping to
get to know them better and go experience more roller coaster rides with them.

2. How will you use the information you obtained? Relate it with the current concept of
pharmacology?

In terms of the previous discussion with my blockmates, I learned a lot, particularly when
it comes to learning about medication categorization and how to quickly identify them based on
their medical suffixes. We had a quick review of the three pharmacological ideas before. And,
based on our recent discussion, I suppose that my own understanding of their categories and
applications will be useful in pharmacotherapeutics. Pharmacotherapeutics is a branch of
medicine that deals with the use of medicines to prevent and treat illnesses. I feel that the
knowledge I gained from the prior discussion will assist me in determining what and where the
medicines should be administered. And what are the things to be considered with regards to the
reactions and adverse effects of drug reactions. I also learned about how medicines are
absorbed, transported, and metabolized in the body, as well as how they are excreted from the
body. These events would be related to the notion of pharmacokinetics, which is concerned with
the effects of drugs on the human body.
