Activity 3. Flash News and Visuals Analyze

1.) On the internet, we come across some fairly ridiculous news reports every day. Some appear
to be blatantly false, while others appear to be too good to be true. So, how do you know
what’s true and what’s not? Double-check the source first. Objectivity, fact-checking, and
avoiding sensationalism are all goals of reputable news companies. Furthermore, some phony
news websites are made to look like legitimate news sources.
2.) There is a counter fact for every fact, and all of these. The rise of “fake news” and the spread
of deceptively edited… In the coming years, the information environment will NOT improve.
3.) Anyone with a virtual machine and the ability to post something on the internet qualified.

What I Can Do
Assessment
 This question has a clear solution. I recommend that you use this analogy. You can
read, understand, and write about what you understand if you are literate.
This is the most common definition. Your inquiry is timely. It's the same thing when it
comes to media, information, and technological literacies: you can read, understand,
and write about these issues. The only difference is that the subjects are different.

Additional Activities
 Yes, Because media brings you closer to your family and country. You can keep in
touch with your family and friends through media, even if you are separated or live far
