Sleeping Trees are seeking two dynamic comedic actors to join them onstage in their latest
Christmas creation Sleeping Beauty and the Beast.
Rehearsal Dates:
2 days in October for RnD session. This will focus on the whole team getting to know each other prior to
November rehearsals. Exact dates tbc.
1st November - 25th November (Monday - Friday with the possibility of Saturday rehearsals) at Battersea
Arts Centre.
Fee: £4670
£500/week x 9 rehearsal & performance weeks
£85/day x 2 RnD days
Expenses:
Subsistence: £370
Travel: £690
Casting Breakdown:
2 performers. Playing age 21+. Gender not specified. Applications from non-white or Global Majority
performers only.
Essential Skills:
• Strong physical and vocal performers: experience of character work and multi rolling
essential.
• Training in or experience of clowning and working with an audience.
• Excellent improvisation skills.
• Have a good ear for music and able to sing.
• A good sense of humour and team player.
• Ideally have seen Sleeping Trees perform or know of our work.
They go to Goodie-versity: the institute for reformed baddies, where Headmasters Beast
and Belle teach them to be good.
This Christmas Eve, the baddie class of 2021 are just one day away from their Gooduation
when, DISASTER STRIKES…
Someone has sent Beast to sleep and he won’t wake up! And without Beast, there can be
no Gooduation day!
With nearly everyone a suspect, we’re going to need your help to crack this Christmas
case!
The creators of Goldilocks & the Three Musketeers return to BAC with a brand new panto
mash-up, full of songs, live music and interaction for all ages! So grab your magnifying
glass, put on your best detective hat and help Sleeping Trees solve this merry mystery.
