Treasure Hunt
We had a very pleasant car treasure hunt
evening, good weather too, and I think those
who attended enjoyed themselves! In the pub,
during the post mortem, it certainly seemed
that way.
Most clues were simple enough if you kept a
good look out although I was surprised no one
knew the name of Wallace’s dog.
One of the instructions, at the head of the clue
sheet said “On your way around, look out for
an out of date poster for a show we have
done.” See picture of the poster above! Guess how many competitors wrote it down, unprompted?
Answers on a postcard to the secretary, can’t wait that long, it was……………ONE.
That competitor won the event, and the bag of money, well done Dave and John.
Rich
So I told my mum that I'd opened a
theatre. She said, "Are you having me
on?" I said, "Well I'll give you an audition,
but I'm not promising you anything."

So I met this bloke with a

didgeridoo and he was playing
Dancing Queen on it.

I thought, that's aboriginal.

So I fancied a game of darts with my
mate. He said, "Nearest the bull goes
first" He went "Baah" and I went
"Moo" He said "You're closest" "You know, somebody actually
complimented me on my driving today. They
left a little note on the windscreen, it said
'Parking Fine.' So that was nice."
