Fuente: SENA

For this evidence, you need to write a 400 word composition about something
someone gave you that means a lot to you. You should use the passive and
active voice along the text. If possible, include a picture of the object. The
following questions might give you some ideas about the kind of information
you should include. Below the questions, you will also find a model paragraph
that illustrates the kind of composition your instructor expects from you.

1. Who gave it to
you?
2. When was it given to you?
3. Why was it given to you?
4. Where were you when you received it?
5. Why is it so special?
6. What is it made of?
7. Where do you keep it?
8. Have you ever lost it?
9. Do you bring it with you when you travel?
10. Have you ever been asked to sell it?
Model paragraph:

Every morning when I leave home, I pass by one of my most valued

possessions, a beautiful acoustic guitar. It was given to me more than 20 years
ago and has hung on the wall of every apartment I have ever lived in. I received
it from a friend who lives in Cali. I look up to him because he has always known
how to make the best out of any bad situation. When he decided to give it to me
I felt privileged because I was told his dad had given it to
him.

The photograph

I have in a drawer the only photo of when I was a child. I keep it preciously
because it is one of the few memories and printed images of my childhood since
it was a very humble childhood, my parents did not have much money to buy a
camera that was a luxury at that time, so they could not buy cameras to be able
to take photos of us.

One day my mother enlisted all my brothers and me for a special outing, since
my father had gotten a better job so we went out to eat at a beautiful restaurant,
the food was spectacular, I was very full, but I didn't eat gluttony, I ate with the
greatest of tastes and since I was so small my stomach couldn't handle that
much. After that we went out to a nearby park and we played a good time, the
afternoon was very beautiful, the day was very sunny, it was a Saturday.

After having enjoyed the park for a long time, we passed near a place where
they took photos and my mother decided to join us and my father paid for them
to take a picture of each of my brothers separately, one of my mothers, one to
him, one as a couple and finally, a family photo. All the photos were very
beautiful.
Almost all the photos were lost over the years, I don't really know what will have
happened to all of them, but I still have mine, it is somewhat old so I will take a
duplicate so that it does not break because I do not want to lose it or forget who
I was and how I went.

On some occasions they asked me if I had more photos, to which I replied that it
was the only one and that it was very special and I always end up telling them
the same story. That is the only photo I have of my childhood and it makes me
remember beautiful things from the past and although I did not have many
comforts, I never lacked love, shelter and food and thank God I did not suffer
from any need or ostentation that is why that photo is a nice memory that I keep
with a lot of affection.
Currently I have my camera, computer and my cell phone and I can take all the
photos I want, that is the only thing that all the beings of this world will take with
us, the memories that more than captured in a photo or image, will remain
engraved in our memories
