1 INTRODUCTION / INTRODUCCIÓN
Every single weekend, people like to do different activities to relax from hard weekdays. Some
people don’t change their routine, while others prefer doing something new. Mario always did the
same things when weekends came. For example, on Saturdays he listened to music and cleaned
his apartment all morning. After that, he played soccer with his colleagues until noon. In the
afternoon, he called some friends. On Sundays, Mario prepared his lunch with a lot of vegetables
and watched the news on TV. In the evening, he stayed home and played video games. However,
Mario’s best friend returned from US last weekend, so Mario had a peculiar Saturday and Sunday.
First, Mario and his friend Joel visited archaeological places and tried typical Peruvian food. Then,
they shopped for new clothes. On Saturday night, they danced at the most popular disco in the
city. On Sunday morning, they surfed at the beach
and played soccer with other people from that
place. Mario and Joel laughed a lot like when they
were children. They remembered anecdotes from Some people don’t
