AGENDAS / AGENDA/ ISSUE (1): Khairul, sales and marketing manager said that the hotel sales statistics drop from
MATTERS
6.1 Million to 2.8 Million in 5 months. Why our business has dropped?
DISCUSSED
REASON: Nantarooban, as Customer Service Manager said that the main reason that cause to
the business drop are poor food and beverage quality, poor service quality, and poor
facilities in the hotel.
SOLUTION: 1. Miss Low, Food and Beverage Manager suggested that the staff (waiters and
waitresses) should be trained well in order to give the best services to the
customers, for example, smile and be polite to customers.
2. Mr. Neo, Human Resource Manager said that Human Resource department will
do spot check and the rearrange the working schedule to ensure worker have
enough time for rest.
3. Mr. Hanif, Facility Manager said that we failed to compete with the facilities
provided by other 5-star hotels many facilities are not working properly and the
facilities provided are inadequate and outdated. We need to upgrade our
facilities and maintain existing facilities.

Beverage Department.

CHARGE:

AGENDA/ ISSUE (2): Why occupancy rate in our hotel has dropped?
SOLUTION: 1. Mr. Neo, Human Resource Manager said that occupancy rate has dropped was
caused by the satisfaction customer drop such as cleanliness of the room. Human
resource department will do spot check every week and give punishment for the
lazy worker.
2. Mr. Hanif, Facility Manager said that the main reason occupancy rate has
dropped was caused by hotel facilities failed to function properly. The air-
conditioning system on the 1st floor needs to make a new replacement because it
is outdated.

CLOSING In his closing remarks, the chairperson thanked all the member for attending the meeting and making constructive
REMARKS contribution in overcoming the problems arise in Sofea Hotel.
He formally endorsed all departments and theirs workplan for the next six months for implementation. Also, the
budget will be included in the next endorsement
