Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship is the act of creating a business or business while building and scaling it to
generate a profit. However, as the world is growing at a rapid pace, many changes have occurred
based on advances in science and technology. In the modern world, the notion of entrepreneurship
emphasizes making an impact on the world and its contents we live in by solving big problems.
Along the lines of creating innovations or bringing social changes that replace common
assumptions or habits that apply to society.

The entrepreneur's meaning implicates more than just being in the business or creating a job. An
entrepreneur takes hold of transforming the world into a better place. To put it another way, let's
take a look at Bill Gates, how he created Microsoft that has been very accommodating in
completing a student's homework by using its processing programs, or moms can easily look for
recipes on the web search engine, bing.com, or a business analyst main job is lifted because of the
presence of spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel. These few examples actively demonstrate that he has
built a system that brings convenience.

Having an entrepreneurship character is crucial as having more entrepreneurs means we get to live
the world in the easiest way possible. What is not easy is creating a generation that provides all
the skills entrepreneurs needed. In Indonesia itself, entrepreneurship is believed to be a solution in
facing various problems such as poverty and the increasing unemployment rate. This country needs
millions of young entrepreneurs to support Indonesia to become a developed country, while at the
same time encouraging job creation, not job seekers.

To sum up, what has been stated so far, we need to improve our human capital through education.
Now, the thing is, how we can enhance our education system that will cultivate not only the ability
to get high scores. But how can students use the knowledge they get in the classroom for real-life
problems. Prof. Ari Kuncoro suggested fostering leadership traits in students through group
assignments. As in making a paper, there must be one of the students who will propose a division
of writing from the topic raised, this event shows that it will boost someone's leadership.

In the face of hard times, look for opportunities and adapt. There is no instant success, it must be
gradual. Start from working hard and smartly using science and technology that has been provided
then if you fail to try again (complete work). Failure will lead to obtaining the maximum output.
Not yet successful, stop blaming others and just be sincere, in these times there are opportunities
for improvisation and innovation. The key is to not give up. J.K. Rowling turned down by 12
publishers before finding success with Harry Potter and even Jack ma got rejected 10 times by
Harvard University. The failures of these two figures are only a few of the successes they have
had for their hard work and persistence. The great successes come from having the freedom to fail
to create a world that has sense of purpose -Mark Zuckenberg.

Having ideas is important but to generate that idea into something that is beneficial and can create
an impact in the world is crucial, follow the ideas that come with opportunities. This is where
entrepreneurs step in. Thinking like entrepreneurs can be formulated through “DISRUPT”.
