INTRODUCTION

1.1 BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

The Covid-19 pandemic has a great effect on the worldwide schooling system.

Many schools had close to ensure the safety of the learners from the virus. Different

governments have to make another way where the learnings of the students will

continue even though there’s a pandemic we’re facing. As a result, the government

imposes a new learning system which students will learn even they are inside their

homes (Citation?).

The problem is that there are students failed to learn in their studies because of

the home those home factors affecting them. Students suffering from lack of knowledge

in their academic performances. Problem really exist because there are studies that

state that it is evident that students play a critical role towards their academic

performances. Students such as developing interest in subject, engaging in co-curricular

activities (Javanthi et al.2014), regular studying, self-motivation, punctuality in school

(Sibanda et al. 2015; Khan & Ahmed,2013) and students’ personal goals as well as

personality traits (Ulate & Carballo, 2011) affect their academic performance. This is a

misleading paragraph. It does not stick to the topic. Please rephrase. Provide

more logical reasons on the problem.

We really need to study this problem to distinguish the factors that contributing

to the academic performances of the students. We believe that there are still factors

contributing to the academic performance that haven’t (contraction is not accepted

in research writing. Say have not or does not, not haven’t nor doesn’t.)

This problem needs attention because there are students that had a big change

in their academic performance throughout the school year. Performance of the students

is influenced by a combination of factors which includes but not limited to: parents level

of education, socio-economic status, interest in subject, gender, regular studying,

punctuality in class, self-motivation, availability of teaching and learning materials, and

competency of teachers, school environment, personal goals and personality traits.(A.

Anthony,2018)

You should be able to enlighten what is really going on the topic. What

is the problem with the topic in international and local setting? I still do not

see the PROBLEM in the whole output. Kindly make a clear statement that

would describe the topic.

2. What are the current problems in distance learning esp. at home?
