1. On October 16 Dr. Elaine topic was COMPARATIVE POLICE SYSTEM she


discussed Asean Chiefs of Police (Aseanapol) was established 1998 and the
country members of ASEANAPOL was Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines,
Singapore, Thailand,Brunei Darussalam, Vietnam,Laos PDR, Myanmar and
Cambodia. She also discussed the comparison of Asean Police in the different
countries like Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan,
Brunei, Myanmar, Cambodia etc. She also explained the different policies and
ranks of those 50 countries. She also included what we called Centralized Police.
A country with only one recognized police force which operates entirely in that
country. It uses a centralized system of policing.  The Philippines is an example
of centralized police because the Philippine National Police has one central office
with many regional, provincial and local branches throughout the country.

2. Dr. Elaine also includes the Decentralized police that refers to a system where
police administrations and operations are independent from one state to another
and It is more applicable to countries with a federal government. She also
mentioned Chowkidar which in India, means one who inhabits a "chowki", police
station or guard house. She also includes different theories like Opportunity
theory, Demographic theory, Modernization theory and theory of anomie and
synomie. She also includes Comparative Criminal Justice; it is a subfield of the
study of criminal justice systems worldwide. It studies the similarities and
differences in structure, goals, punishment and emphasis on rights as well as the
history and political stature of different systems.
3. After that she continues to discuss what is Confucian thought it means The belief
that social order can be achieved through moral and political reform because
man is by nature good or capable of goodness. She also includes Cybercrimes
that are generally defined as any type of illegal activity that makes use of the
Internet, a private or public network, or an in-house computer system. She also
mentioned cyber talking, computer fraud, identity theft, computer viruses and
denial of service attacks. After that she also included Malware the malicious
software that interferes with the functioning of computers and sending data of
users over the internet and Information warfare the attacks on information and
computer systems.

4. She also mentioned Countries With Less Or No Crime like Switzerland, Japan,
Ireland and Egypt -Siwa oasis she also includes the different police global
organizations like Asean Chief of police, Europol, IACP, Interpol and UN policing.
Afterwards She also discusses Drug trafficking as the commercial exchange of
drugs and drug paraphernalia. This includes any equipment used to manufacture
illegal drugs or use them.after that the EUROPOL It means European Police
Office or Europol. Europol is the European Union’s criminal intelligence agency. It
became fully operational on July 1,1999. Europol only acts on request at present.
She also include the different republic act like RA 8792 - Electronic Commerce
Act of 2000,RA 9208 - The Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003, RA 9165 -
Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, RA 9372 - Human Security Act of
2007 and RA 9995 - Anti-Photo and Voyeurism Act of 2009. After that as usual
she gave another pretest to us.
