    According to the previous writing exercises, you will


    design a formal letter addressed to the UN Secretary-
    Executive (200 words) including the following steps:

    Mr. Secretary,

    Technology is undoubtedly important for the development and growth of a country,


    for updating itself in education, investments, providing a better quality of life, in
    short, a series of opportunities and benefits, but it is essential to emphasize that,
    with all these advances , it pays a cost and, in this case, it is the environment. We
    always talk about pollution, but many times we forget what are the negative and
    positive scope of living in a technological era, it can be mentioned that one of the
    positive impacts of technology on the environment that can be highlighted is the
    creation of inventions or tools Useful as the electric car, which does not generate
    emissions and saves traditional fuel, we can also talk about solar panels, being a
    tool that has low emissions and many gains, but we must talk about those negative
    impacts that subtract points from the environment such as: mining , waste
    generation, desertification.
    It is not too late to improve and repair the damage caused. It all depends on having
    a different attitude and recognizing that environmental bad practices are being
    carried out, and not only in big cities, but also from home, we must encourage,
    involve all of society and industry, we can change and improve our habits .
