I. INTRODUCTION

As a human being we always observe personal hygiene. We take a shower every day to

maintain good health, and because of that we use different products, and different products

refers to shampoo for our hair, we use toothpaste to brush our teeth, we use body deodorant for

us to goods smell, and of course we used soap to clean the body, then we also apply lotion after

part. But this afternoon I’m gonna focus on what product that helps us get rid of the germs, and

that product is so called Safeguard soap.

Safeguard soap is an anti-bacterial and germ protection soap which was launched in 1966 in the

Philippines by Procter and Gamble company. Since I was a child, my family is consistently

using safeguard soap because it is good for fighting germs, the scent is good, and it is not

causing any dryness to my skin. What I love about this soap, it helps to remove acne and

unwanted odors in the body while killing germs.

Many antibacterial bar soaps such as “SAFEGUARD PURE WHITE”, continue to protect your

skin for hours after washing, to help the fight against illness and infection. and also, this soap is

not just for germ protection but it also made for those people who has a sensitive skin like me.

Another thing I love about this soap is quality and prize, as a user of this product safeguard

soap is one of the products that satisfy my standard when it comes to my hygiene. It’s cheap but

with satisfying quality because it features a clean, fresh scent that all family can enjoy.

Safeguard Pure white bar was chosen to be the product of focus because it protects your family

from the germs that cause 75% of all childhood illnesses with Safeguard Pure White bar soap

There are different variations from 60grams up to 175grams respectively that are available in

any store.

II. BACKGROUND

It’s been over hundred years since the establishment of the P&G company it is formed in 1837

when William Procter, a British candle maker, and James Gamble, an Irish soap maker, merged

their businesses and started making and selling soap and candles in Cincinnati, Ohio. And in

1963 it was launched in the U.S and in 1966 it was launched in the Philippines, and since then,

the Safeguard soap became the Philippine #1 anti-bacterial and germ protection soap until now.

This marked the beginning of a rich heritage of soap making for Procter & Gamble. For more

than 50 years, Safeguard has delivered on the commitment to provide the best protection

against disease-causing germs of any antibacterial soap. With a presence in more than 15

countries, Safeguard continues to introduce new innovations and education programs that help

make families smarter and stronger in the fight against harmful germs.

IV. METHOD

This feasibility study will make use of an interview. In this interview I ask a certain person

about its honest review or their opinion about the product safeguard soap.

Interviewee: “I have been using Safeguard soap for over 4 years now. I always felt like I was

really clean after showering. I have no interest in changing to other brands. But the new size is

not satisfactory. Not sure what marketing strategy was used to approve the smaller size but it

was, in my mind, a poor decision, maybe? Probably not realistic but I feel like I’m ready to

change out the bar in the half the number of showers if price is part of the reason, let me just

say, I would probably pay more for the original size but it doesn’t matter. Because now that in

the midst of pandemic, I realize how Safeguard is important to me, especially to my hygiene

and safety. Because it helps me to protects to germs, bacteria, and viruses.”

Based on the information above, here are the evaluations

VII. CONCLUSION

know if the specifications are better than any other brands in the market.

As it was evaluated, here are the conclusions that the writer of this study come up with:

1. Now that we are living in the pandemic with Covid-19, hygiene is the top priority.

Safeguard soap is the best anti-bacterial soap with has 99.9% that eliminates bacteria

and to maintain body cleanliness to protect our family in germs and viruses. It would

be great and better if it is use for our hygiene and with positive effects to our health.

2. Pricey but high quality. The bestselling soap among the other brands even though it

is not the cheapest. Because of its popularity people tend to buy this product. Also

because of its effectiveness it is also affordable and can also buy anywhere.

3. It is a little bit pricey but you can be sure of the quality of the product because it is

approved by PAMET and recommended by the dermatologist

VIII. RECOMMENDATIONS

Here are the recommendations of the feasibility study:

1. For those who want to have a healthy skin. Many body soaps are made to cleanse

and improve the condition of your skin over time. Some contain vitamin E and other

nutrients that are beneficial to your skin. Many also contain moisturizers, meaning

they can be less drying than any bar soap. They can help infuse water and essential

oils into your skin, which helps protect it against the elements particularly during

cold weather.

2. Safeguard soap also is generally less abrasive than any bar soap, so people with dry

or sensitive skin can get clean from head to toe with less chance of redness and

irritation.

3. For those who want antibacterial protections. Antibacterial soap is effective at killing

germs while cleaning dirt, excess oil, odor, sweat, and makeup from your skin. Many

antibacterial soaps, such as Safeguard, continue to protect your skin for hours after

washing, to help the fight against illness and infection. In addition, they can help

inhibit body odor that can result when germs naturally multiply on your skin.
