Casting Time: 1 minute
Range 20 feet
Components V, S, M (a decorated feather and 5
gp worth of fine parchment and inks which the spell
consumes)
Duration Instantaneous
You magically create a contract that enforces an
agreement between any number of creatures with-
ing line of sight. Each of the participants must be
aware of the contents of the contract and agree with
it, either verbally or through writing. When the
spell is cast the contents of the contract are written
down on the parchment, which will turn black and
dissolve.
The moment the contract is broken all involved
parties will be know who broke the contract. The
moment the contract is fulfilled the contract will
reappear and burn itself.
A Remove Curse spell, cast using a spell slot of
at least the same level that was used to cast this
spell, can exclude someone permanently from the
contract.
When you use a 3rd level spell slot participants
trying to break the contract must succeed on a Wis-
dom Saving Throw against your spell save DC or
fail. Using a 5th level spell slot the participants
receive disadvantage on the Wisdom Saving throw.
When you use a 7th level spell slot, the effects of
breaking the contract become disastrous. When a
participant breaks the contract the “seal of the liar”
is magically burned into the body and any crea-
ture likeability towards them decreases (a person
that likes them is now neutral, a neutral creature
might turn hostile) as they instinctively know that
the participant cannot be trusted. If one would use
a 9th level spell slot to create the contract it will
be unbreakable and all those who break it will have
their very soul marked with the “seal of the liar”
and the very heavens will forsake them. Everything
in life will go wrong for the participant until they
die a miserable death.
