Instruction: Please answer the questions below and send them back via canvas after
completing them. Remember that there is no wrong or correct answer, just answer with
honesty.

1. In 150 words or less, what are your insights on the vision and mission of the
university?

My thoughts about the vision and mission of our school Nortwestern University is that,
the vision is what we want to see in the future, and it ensures that all of our decisions are in
line with that vision. The vision is supported by the mission, which is why we exist in the first
place. Without these two aspects, the organization will find it hard to make decisions and will
lack a clear route to follow. Our universities set a vision and mission for us to have one
direction to follow. It makes us focused on what the university wants us to achieve. The
deeper purpose why there is a vision and mission in our university is to help us students what
we want to get in the future. The leaders of Nortwestern University (NWU) made a vision and
mission that can make our university united as they take a step in achieving everyone’s dream.
It is not just all about the future of our university, but also the future of the student’s studies in
here.
