Communication Codes

What is code:
code is a language used by a lot of people to create websites, games, and various other things
on the internet, but there is also code that is used secretly to communicate without others
around you not knowing. Some codes are also ways to send signals.

Morse code:
Who created it:
morse code was created by Samuel Morse who it was also named after, he was also an inventor
and painter, but Alfred Vail also helped create morse code and was an inventor as well they
created it in Morristown, New Jersey United states. They both created it after the invention of
the electric telegraph so that it could be used to send signals by learning morse code.
How and why, it was developed:
It was developed after they invented the electric telegraph that they could use to send singles
by using dots and dashes, so they invented morse code that converts those dots and dashes
into letters and numbers it was made so they could send messages over long distances on
telegraph wires.
When and where is it used:
Morse was created in the 1830s for electrical telegraphy, today it is most used for emergency
signals. It is now mostly by pluses or light in those situations, but it is also used by amateur
radio operators. It was used a lot during wars to community to others during the war. It peaked
in the 1890s and was used a lot at that time but in 1999 it stopped being used but people are
still using it, but just not in enormous quantities. Even after this the USA still trains 10 people to
use morse code a year.
How was it used:
It was used by matching dots and dashes to letters and numbers. It was transmitted by the
electric telegraph and the receiver would have to it unencrypt the code that they receive and
would send back the code the same way with the electric telegraph to send messages over a
distance.
How the code works, how I use it:
I do not use morse code right now mostly because I have not learnt it yet and I do want to learn
it for example this is how you would say hi my name is Jodh .... .. / -- -.-- / -. .- -- . / .. ... / .--- ---
-.. ...., but I know it is going to take a lot of practice to learn it, if I were to use it, I would use it
to be able to secretly send messages between me and others without people that I do not want
to her what I want to say. But if I was in an emergency, it will also be use fu to use then to sed
out signals using a light source.
What impact did the code have on the world or the people who used it:
Morse code right now is not impacting the world the world now, but I know in the past morse
code has affected the world a lot and the people who use it. For the people somewhere given
jobs if they had known how to use it so that they could be used as translators and for
communication during wars and just normally as well

Hieroglyphics:
Who created it:
Ancient Egyptians believed that hieroglyphics were created by the Greek God Thoth, even
though this is a myth they still called it the “writing of Gods words.” We may not know the
exact person who created expect myths from the ancients Egyptians, but we do know who the
first person was to decipher hieroglyphics. In 1822, Jean-François Champollion by using the
rosettes stone was able to decipher hieroglyphics so that we could understand what this
ancient language means.
How and why, it was developed:
It was developed so that priests could record momentous events, wars or stories about their
gods and pharos. It started to be developed around 3000 BCE by the Egyptians where they
would create characters on walls of temples, stone on tombs or papyrus. Those characters
would be made to represent an object or sound so they can be meaningful or be made to send
a message to someone else.
When and where is it used:
It was first used in Egypt, where it was also created and the place where it was used. It was first
started to be used in 3100 BCE and they continued to use this language for about another 4000
years.
How was it used:
It was used in many ways in the early ages it was only used by priests to record important
events, wars, and stories about their gods, but it was able used to decorate their walls and
tombs. They were also carved or painted onto temple walls. But other than those they also
used sheets of papyrus to write hieroglyphics
How the code works, how I use it:
I do not use Hieroglyphics and that is the case with most people, it is now a dead code that no
one in the world uses anymore. It has been replaced by more advanced but also better codes
that people use now. Also, codes that are much easier to use than drawing the characters used
in Hieroglyphics. How does Hieroglyphics work? There are more than 700 characters in
Hieroglyphics, they all can be seen as symbols for objects or sounds that could be turned into
story's when out together and read.

Binary:

Who created it:

Binary code was created by Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, in the 17th century. He was an incredibly
famous avant-garde mathematician in the 17th century. He created to try and find a system that
could convert logic statements into pure mathematical ones. He created it in 1679 and
published his work in 1703
How and why, it was developed:
It was created so that we could turn a logic statement into something that is mathematical, that
was what it was developed for originally but now we use it to give data to a computer so it
could process your instructions.
When and where is it used:
It was created in 1703 but I would say that we use it more right now more than we ever have in
the past, because we are using it in out computers every single day and there being so many
computers in the world and them not just being in one place but all over the world that
everyone uses. This means that binary code is used all over the world.
How was it used
It was and is used by looking at 0 and 1s to learn what these mean in letters to create
instructions to input into computers so you could give it instructions to complete a task these 0
and 1s store the data to do this.
How the code works, how I use it:
The code works by imputing 0 and 1s in a certain sequence so they create letter and number
such as if I wanted to type the letter A into a computer it would be 01000001, there is a
combination like this using just 0 and 1 for every letter in the English alphabet. I do not use
binary code as in coding a computer with it but every time I turn on and use a computer, I am
using binary code because the computer is activity using binary code.
