1. How to start MS-Office Word?
Step 1: Click on “start”
Step 2: Click on “run”
Step 3: Type “winword” and click on “ok”

Step 1: Go to insert > header or footer.
Step 2: Choose the header style you want to
use
Step 3: Add or change text for the header or
footer.
Step 4: Select close header and footer.

3. Write the steps for Mail Merge?


Step 1: Click the mailing tab to open the mail merge tools.
Step 2: Click the start mail merge button and select your
format.
Step 3: Click the select recipients and select how you want to
add recipients to the mail merge.
Step 4: Click the greeting line button to create the custom
greeting.
Step 5: Click the insert merge field button and select the field
that you want to enter document.
Step 6: Click the highlight merge field button to make the
inserted fields stand out.
Step 7: Type content of document.
Step 8: Click the preview results button to see how the final
product look.
Step 9: Finish the merge process.

4.How to start MS-Office Excel?

Step 1: Click on the start button.


Step 2: Click on all programs option from menu
Step 3: Search for Microsoft office from the sub
menu and click it.
Step 4: Search for Microsoft excel from the sub
menu and click it.

Step 1: Click a cell where you want to enter
formula.
Step 2: Type = to begin a formula.
Step 3: Select a cell and then type an arithmetic
operator (+, -, * or /).
Step 4: Select the another cell, and then press the
F4 key to make that cell reference absolute.
Step 5: If necessary, continue entering formula.
Step 6: Click enter button on the formula bar.

alphabetical order?
Step 1: Select any cell or column you want to sort.
Step 2: On the data tab, in the sort and filter
group, Click either A-Z to sort ascending or Z-A to
sort descending. Done!

Step 1: Click on the start button.
Step 2: Click on all programs option from yhe
menu.
Step 3: Search for Microsoft office from the
sub menu and click it.
Step 4: Search for Microsoft powerpoint from
the submenu and click it.

effect?
Step 1: Select the text or object.
Step 2: Select the animation tab.
Step 3: In animation group click the custom animation.
Step 4: Custom animation task pane appears on the right.
Step 5: Click the add effect.
Step 6: Select the desired effect.

one slide and multiple slides.
⮚ Step 1: Select the slide to which you want to apply the
effect.
Step 2: Select the animation tab.
Step 3: In transition to this slide group you will see the
transition effect.
Step 4: Click the drop-down arrow to see the menu of
transition effect.
Step 5: Select the desired transition effect.
Step 6: Click apply to all to apply the transition effect.
