INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPATION INSTRUCTION IN SECOND LANGUAGE SCHOOL OF

MECANICAL ENGINEERING.
SEM 2 2021

PROCESS

1- Each student of the group must answer IN ENGLISH, preparing a video with the parameters
that are described below;

2-In each subject they should describe;

2.1 Dynamic principle that governs it (conceptual foundation of the topic)

2.2 applications of the topic addressed from mechanical engineering.

2.3 TOPIC TO BE DEVELOPED: SHARP EFFORT AND SUPPORT EFFORTS; the differences
must be established in each case, and one application for shear stress and one for support
stresses should be presented; For this they can be supported by billboards, presentations, videos,
and other means of didactic aid that facilitate and improve the presentation of the subject; in the
same way, THE FREE BODY DIAGRAMS that are necessary in the explanation of the subject and
the field of application in STRENGTH OF MATERIALS WILL BE DESCRIBED.

To support the conceptual foundation that must be presented in the video, it is suggested to refer to
any of the texts of VECTORIAL MECHANICS FOR ENGINEERS, where you can expand the topic.

It is noteworthy that as each topic is being worked on by you from the exercises assigned for group
exposure, there should be no inconvenience whatsoever. The conceptual foundation is the same.

3- Said video must be recorded by each student from their personal technological system, cell
phone, P.C., desktop computer, video camera of any type that allows recording, etc., being filmed
full body, half body, or approach that you like the most but that indicates in the filming has been
developed by the student; THE DURATION OF THE RECORDING WILL BE APPROXIMATELY 3
MINUTES taking into account when starting;

A) Greeting

B) Presentation: Name; Subject matter for which the description is being made; and date of
preparation of the video.

4- Once the video has been prepared with the answers to the topics requested for each student,
this (video) must be uploaded to the network of YOU TUBE network in which the video must appear
with electronic address so that it can be linked from any computer In order to see the description
made by each of you.

5- The electronic address obtained, once each of you upload the video to the aforementioned
platform, must be copied and sent to the BLACKBOARD platform of the corresponding group, in
the matter STATIC AND LABORATORY in the link enabled as: WORK IN ENGLISH CUT 2, in
order to provide evidence of the work done.

6- This evidence will be sent by the teacher who owns the material to both the language
department and the director of the Mecanical Engineering school as evidence of compliance with
the group's work, evidence that will support the University's language department and will send the
concept to the career management who can review through the created link (electronic address)
that each of you links in the YOU TUBE network.

note:

This exercise must be uploaded to the you tube network no later than THURSDAY, OCTOBER 14,
2021, UNTIL 11:59 P.M .; in the same way, the electronic address of the link of each video should
be sent on the same date to the blackboard platform in order for the teacher to execute the
corresponding review, establish the link with the language department and the address.

I transmit you the information given by the Faculty of Engineering in the sense that the activity is of
absolute compliance by institutional order and grants 5% of the work grade for the second cut; if
they do not present it, they will have a score of 0.0 .
