1. DepEd Order #30 s. 2019 and D.O. #31 s. 2019 containing set of rule of standards that will
serve as reference for DepEd personnel involved in styling and formatting DepEd issuances and other
official documents; and guidelines on the specifications and applications of the Department’s name,
seal and logo to produce a unified look in all DepEd communications and applications, respectively.

2. To ensure the appropriate use of words, courtesy, clarity in intent or ideas, consistency and
focused goals, completeness and productivity, and the promotion of excellence in effective
communication, the field is hereby advised to strictly adhere to the policies articulated in two DepEd
Orders cited above.

3. Enclosed in this Memorandum is the prescribed sample format of Division Memorandum. It

is expected that all Division Office, Districts and Schools personnel and staff shall abide with the
given format.

4. All Division Memoranda prepared must be countersigned by their Division Chiefs if coming
from CID and SGOD, while those prepared by OSDS staff must be countersigned by the ASDS.

5. Immediate dissemination and compliance of this Memorandum is highly enjoined.
