For the object given on the back page, do the following:

a. Model the object in Modelling environment using mm units. (30 points),
b. In Drafting environment use A2 size METU Template (fill the table) and
i. Give 1:1 scale top, front and right views of the object with correct alignment
(3x10 points),
ii. Give 1:1 scale auxiliary view of the inclined surface with correct alignment and
label it as “Aux View A” (don’t forget to remove the unnecessary lines) (20
points),
iii. Give 1:2 scale shaded trimetric view, label it as “Trimetric View B” and show
the scale underneath (10 points),
iv. Export the sheet to high resolution pdf with the same name of the prt file (10
points).
c. DON’T dimension the views.

IMPORTANT NOTES!

• In NX; set file name ME1XX-IDno-MT1.prt

o example: ME105-1234567-MT1.prt or ME117-1234567-MT1.prt
• You will upload 2 files on ODTUClass:
o ME1XX-IDno-MT1.prt and ME1XX-IDno-MT1.pdf
• If your prt file does not contain drafting sheet, you will get zero even if you submitted
the pdf file. If you submit only pdf file, you will get zero.
• Sketches must be fully constraint otherwise you will lose credit.

• If you copy any part of the homework from other students, YOU WILL GET ZERO! We
have a way of knowing this, believe me J
