CABARUAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

NARRATIVE REPORT

July was set to celebrate Nutrition Month in our country. It was done yearly or
annually by the third week of the said month. This year’s theme is “First 1000 days ni
Baby, Pahalagahan para sa malusog na kinabukasan.” The theme itself tells us the
importance of nutrition especially for babies even they are still inside the womb of
mothers. Mothers should intake nutritious foods such as fruits, vegetables. They
should also have extra care for their selves for the welfare of their own child so that
when the baby comes out they are already healthy and far from infections and
sickness.
To further give our pupils and even their parents the knowledge on the
importance of nutrition we stewarded Nutrition Month Celebration in our school on
the 28th day of July, 2016. With this, pupils had chance to join the different contest
prepared by the teaching personnel of Cabaruan Elementary School. They face off in
oration, nutri-quiz, nutri-jingle, poster and slogan and cook-fest. Those who became
the school champion automatically joined the Municipal Competition.
On the day after, it was July 29, 2016 and the last Friday of the month the Local
Government Unit conducted Municipal/District Level of Culminating Program. The
program started at 8:00 in the morning. Barangay’s and schools joined together for
Best Booth. Since Barangay Cacayasen was listed as the “Wall of Famer” we teachers
and Barangay Officials decided to just display whatever products thus the barangay
have and not to join the competition anymore. At the end of the day, our School
triumph for the Best in Garden, poster and slogan and second placer for the nutri-
jingle category. Indeed, we bring home the bacon with flying colors. Cabaruan
Elementary Teachers truly believed that if we work together and always help each
other, our goals will achieve better.
Cabaruan….we are one!!!
