Quick guide to setup MERCUSYS MR70X with Maxis Fiber ( TM’s Fiber Optic Modem)

1) Once connect router and head to setup page http://mwlogin.net .Click Quick Setup, the Select your
Time Zone.

2) Select your connection type to PPPoE and click Next.

3) Enter your username and password obtained from Maxis Fiber provider. Call their hotline and
obtain these information. Click on special ISP settings. Select Malaysia-Maxis1 profile if you are
using TM’s Fiber Optic Modem. If you are using Maxis’s Fiber Optic Modem, select Malaysia-Maxis2
profile. Then click Next.
4) You may check the Smart Connect (Unified wifi distribution method to either 2.4GHz or 5GHz). Key-
in the SSID broadcast ID and desired wifi password. Note: Please Google the function of Smart
Connect by TP-Link and Mercusys. Btw, Mercusys have link with TP-Link.

5) Viola! You should be connected to internet by now. Otherwise, seek for support here. For technical

6) Further setting is optional. Go to Advanced tab, check the IGMP Proxy and IGMP Snooping. Select
IGMP version 3. **I do not really know what is its function, just follow instruction given by the
support guy over the phone.**
