Final Group Project Outline (Weightage 15%)

Requirements
• Pick any one Pakistani company either from manufacturing or service sector.
• Apply all concepts from each chapter (mentioned below) and develop a report by implying
all the concepts to score full percentage.
• Report should not be more than 30 pages, excluding references and tables.
• No plagiarism. Final project report will be checked on Turnitin. Less 10% plagiarism is
acceptable.
• Font Style: Times New Roman, Font Size=12, Line Spacing=1, Paragraph=Justified.
Provide proper Table of content.

• How the concept of operations management is relevant to your organization?
• Is your selected organization producing goods or providing services? Support your answer
with the distinctive features discussed in class.
• If possible, compute the organization productivity both the total factor productivity and
single factor productivity. Is there any productivity challenge faced by the selected
organization?
• How ethics, social responsibility and sustainability issues are catered in your selected
organization?
Chapter 2
• What is the relevance of operations and effective supply chain management in your
selected organization?
• How your selected organization is achieving competitive advantage through operations?
• Does your selected organization have any issues in their respective operations strategy?

• What is strategic planning, core competencies and outsourcing features of your selected
