Comments: Ms. Hennings was constantly observing for anyone who might be distracted or disruptive and positioned herself
near anyone who may have needed guidance.

Comments: Lesson was started promptly at 12:35 when students returned from lunch. Materials were on hand and the
technology used (laptop, TV screen) was connected and ready for the presentation. Students were engaged throughout the
lesson by responding with a thumbs up/thumbs down, raising their hands to answer questions, and independent writing.

Comments: Ms. Hennings gave examples of times that the students may have used persuasion.

Comments: When asking a struggling student about the setting of the story, the student was reminded that the setting of
