Learning objectives:
1)By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to read and find at least 3-4 facts
about Munish Bansal.
2)By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to answer at least 3 questions
correctly in dictation activity.
3)By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to write at least 5 sentences about
themselves.

Step 1 Preparation
Refer to English Plus 1 Year 5 Textbook Pages 74- (Read “A Life in
Photos)

Step 2 Reading
1.The pupils look at the pictures and guess what is special about it
(Exercise 1).
2. After that, pupils read the story and checked if their guesses
are correct.
3. Dictation Activity ( As a pair)
The teacher dictate some questions to the class and pupils shall
discuss them in pairs. ( Refer to dictation worksheet)
4. Pupils check the meaning of words in blue in the text. (For more
practice, pupils can go to page 64 in the Workbook).
5. The pupils read and listen to the text again and write true or
false(Exercise 2, textbook page 74).
Step 3 Writing
1. Get the pupils to bring few of their photos when they were
little and their current photos.
2. The pupils will write an e-mail to their best friend. In the e-mail
they will write on how they’ve changed for the past 11 years.
Also, they will write about the wonderful people around them and
their experiences along the years.
3. The pupils may paste their photos at the bottom of their
e-mail.
