How we could contribute to the
agriculture in Puerto Rico?
1. Decide the farm
2. Contact the owner
3. Visit the farm and do community service
4. Suggest ideas
I learned that the agriculture in Puerto Rico is not
completely lost, the farmers are there but the help is little so,
if we want to see the difference, we have to contribute.
Because of my fear to the wasps, I spilled the basket so I wish
that I had been braver while collecting the coffee harvest .
I did my best work while putting the coffee through the
depulping process.
The most enjoyable part was sharing with the farmer and tasting
some fruits that he collected at the moment.
The least enjoyable part was collecting the coffee with the
wasps near us.
The teacher should communicate with the farmers on the list to,
at least, thank them for accepting her students and their
community service. The farmer told us that she has not
communicate with him ever, and I think that change would
make this project better.
