Student Name: Jorlane M. De Jesús Ramírez

Project Name: Community Service
Driving Question: How we could contribute to the
agriculture in Puerto Rico?
List the major steps of the
project: 1. Decide the farm
2. Contact the owner
3. Visit the farm and do community service
4. Suggest ideas
About Yourself:
What is the most important I learned that the agriculture in Puerto Rico is not
thing you learned in this
completely lost, the farmers are there but the help is little so,
project:
if we want to see the difference, we have to contribute.
What do you wish you had
spent more time on or done
Because of my fear to the wasps, I spilled the basket so I wish
differently: that I had been braver while collecting the coffee harvest .

What part of the project did

you do your best work on: I did my best work while putting the coffee through the
depulping process.

About the Project:

What was the most
enjoyable part of this The most enjoyable part was sharing with the farmer and tasting
project: some fruits that he collected at the moment.

What was the least

enjoyable part of this The least enjoyable part was collecting the coffee with the
project: wasps near us.

How could your teacher(s)

change this project to make The teacher should communicate with the farmers on the list to,
it better next time: at least, thank them for accepting her students and their
community service. The farmer told us that she has not
communicate with him ever, and I think that change would
make this project better.
