- The Filipino entrepreneur I chose is Cresida Tueres, the founder of the famous pizza
store Greenwich.

2. List down the characteristics and competencies that you think were helpful in the success
of the entrepreneur using the following:

a. What the Entrepreneur is Good At

- Cresida Tueres has a passion and a great skill in cooking. She also has a natural talent
for entrepreneurship. Because of this, she decided to build a food business with the
influence of her friends and family.

b. What the Entrepreneur Does Most of the Time

- Since Cresida's passion is cooking; before it became a subsidiary of Jollibee food

corporation, she dedicates most of her time cooking and thinking of ways to serve people
quality yet affordable food.

c. What I think Makes the Entrepreneur Successful

- What made her successful is her perseverance, hard work, passion, and commitment
to what she is doing. Since our country has been influenced by western culture, Filipinos'
love for pizza and other foreign foods became popular. I think this gives her an idea to take
that opportunity to start her small-over-the-counter pizza store.

3. Compare the items in the list by identifying your own personal characteristics and

competencies using: 

a. Now or you at present 

- Even though I'm still a student, I already set a goal for me to achieve, which is to build
a business in the future. Since it is aligned with the course I'm taking, I know it will be a wise
decision to pursue something which is the same as my interest, passion, study, and at the
same time, will be beneficial for me and to the community. Just like Mrs. Tueres did when
she aligned her goal in her passion.

b. Still to be Developed

- I think what I need to improve is my confidence to achieve the things that I like and to
have more concrete and systematic plans to make my goals successful.
