 History is the narrative of man (His – man +
story)
 Artifact, document, diary, manuscript,
photograph, autobiography, recording, book,
certificate, cinema film, television program,
or any other source of information that was
created at the time under investigation
o Primary Sources
 Immediate, first-hand accounts of
a topic, from people who had
direct connection with it
 Includes:
 text of laws and other original
documents
 original research
 newspaper report, by a
reporter who witnessed an
event or who quote people
