Good afternoon, everybody.

Let me introduce myself; my name is Sau,Today I am here to present to

you about business culture of china. My presentation is divided into 2 parts. I will talk about Appearance
and then I will look at Business practice. I’ll start with some general information about appearance.
Firstly, Chinese women and men dress in business. Typically, business professional standards for men
and women can be summed up in a word: suits. For men, business professional includes a suit, neutral
dress shirt, dress shoes, belt and a tie (many business professional jobs also require neat and clean
grooming). For women, business attire typically consists of either a pantsuit set, tailored skirt and blazer
combo, or a knee-length tailored dress. Closed-toed, low heels are typically preferred. Secondly, The
modern Chinese business attire allows men and women to dress casually. Chinese business people are
very conservative in dress and appearance. Avoid wearing bright colors or loud patterns. For meetings,
wear a suit and tie in muted, dark colors. Business women should avoid clothing that is revealing; stick
with high necklines and skirts at or below the knee. High-heeled shoes should be avoided as well; flat
shoes or those with a small heel are the norm. Yet, jeans are not acceptable for business meetings.
Lastly About how to dress Chinese people has caused fever on the internet in recent years for example
during the Lunar New Year. From head to toe, all clothes and accessories worn on New Year's Day
should be brand-new. Some families still wear traditional Chinese clothing like qipao, but many families
now wear regular, Western-style clothing like dresses, skirts, pants, and shirts on Chinese New Year's
Day. Many opt to wear lucky red underwear. about the custom of dressing like this on holidays posted
all over the social networking site also shows that they pay great attention to what to wear during the
holidays. Well, I’ve told you about appearence.

Now we’ll move on to business practice. First of all, Appointments are necessary and, if possible, should
be made between one-to-two months in advance, preferably in writing. If you do not have a contact
within the company, use an intermediary to arrange a formal introduction. Once the introduction has
been made, you should provide the company with information about your company and what you want
to accomplish at the meeting. Next, The Chinese government stipulates a five-day workweek and the
business hour is regulated as no more than 8 hours a day and no more than 44 hours a week in the
Labor Law of People's Republic of China. The regular working time generally is from Monday to Friday,
with Saturday and Sunday off. The Chinese people usually work between 08:00 and 18:00 each day. The
working hours of Chinese companies may be from 08:00 to 17:00, 08:30 to 17:30 or 09:00 to 18:00.
Finally , With a lunch break from 12:00pm to 2:00 pm . time lasts for two hours. That’s all I have to say
about business practice. That brings us to the end of my presentation. Well that’s it from me, Thank
you for listening I would like to present to you
