A questionnaire titled Survey of Ocean Stewardship (SOS) was designed and distributed to 100
respondents. Summary and data exhibition for demographic part which consists of state,
ethnicity, nationality, gender, location, age and job are shown as below.

According to Bar Chart 1.1 and Table 1.1, among the overall respondents who took part in the
survey, the candidates from Perak State shows the highest ranking with 45%, followed by
candidates from Other States with 22%, Pulau Pinang candidates with 19%, Kedah candidates
at 13% and Terengganu candidates with the least percentage of 1%.

Based on Bar Chart 1.2 and Table 1.2, respondents from Indian ethnicity show the highest
percentage in answering the survey with 54%. This is followed by Malay ethnic respondents with
26%, Chinese ethnic respondents with 13% and Other ethnic respondents with 7%.
