This chapter includes the presentation, analysis, and interpretation of data gathered

From this study. Presentation of data based on the classification of the problem
presented in chapter 1

Problem 1: How much time do you spend in reading?

This table shows the Frequency Distribution of respondents in terms of the time spent
on reading. Out of 20 respondents, they have the same frequency, wherein

10 or 50% Answer 2 hours and 1 hour. Therefore, the time

They spent on reading is to 1-2 hours.

Table 2.1 shows the respondents reading comprehension. Based on the data in the
table, majority of the respondents are answered Most of the time with a total of 10
compose of 50%. 7 or 35% of the respondents are always, 3 or 15% are seldom and
0% are not. It is also known the fact that the respondents are comprehend on what they
are reading
Problem 3: Have you applied reading strategies such as scanning, KWL, and other
skills when taking reading comprehension?

This table shows that only 10 or 50% of the respondents said yes applied strategies in
reading. Only 7 or 35% of them are undecided applying of the strategies in reading. As
for 3 of the respondents compose of 15% answered no. It shows that majority of the
respondents applied reading strategies.

This table shows the frequency distribution of respondents in terms of new things they
found out after reading. Based on the data in the table, majority of the respondents are
answered I always make myself prepared with a total of 12 compose of 60%. 7 or 35%
of the respondents are I don’t do anything, 1 or 5% are I will forget about It is also
known the fact that the respondents are collecting new things after reading.
Problem 5: Does your teacher motivates/ encourage you to speak English Language?

Table 5.1, the highest frequency with a total of 18 or 90% of the respondents said yes to
teachers’ encouragement to speak in English language. The remaining 2 frequency
comprise of 10% said no. This table present that majority of the respondents said yes to
teachers’ encouragement to speak English language.
Problem 6: What do you prefer the most in terms of Reading?

This table shows the frequency distribution of respondents in terms of reading. Among
the 20 people who responded. There were 9 or 45% who answered "Movie Subtitle," 6
or 30% who answered Watt pad, 4 or 20% who answered books, and only 1 or 5% who
answered textbooks. As a result, most of them prefer to read movie subtitles.
