Dear diary
What a wonderful day it was . Today, my dream has
come true as I get my first assignment of wedding
planning for whom I was waiting for soo long . It was
an astonishing moment for me .My cheeks were
flushed with excitement, my heart was throbbing
with excitement. I was filled with great enthusiasm. I
was so excited for my first ever assignment, it was
like a dream for me that is going to be true , but for
the same time , I am bit nervous ,bit worried about
what happened next , how will I manage this in a
small period of time, it will become a hectic task for
me.
Though it was my first project , I will have to move
forward by pointing each and every step carefully , as
if I become wrong then it will be unbearable for me
to repay the loss. I think that many challenges will
come in front of me during my first wedding planning
assignment . I will need to secure the best available
venue for the wedding in consideration of the date
and budget for the wedding. Budgeting will be one of
the major challenges , but I will manage it by seeking
previous events budget of wedding planning and
think what I can do for make it better. Most
significant thing is that there need to be a backup
plan for bad weather , otherwise it can ruin the event.
One of the biggest challenge is not having a
structured management process , streamlined
workflow , centralized communication , I need them
just to maximize the productivity and ultimately the
success of the event. Decoration theme will little bit
confused me , what theme will I should opt and
ensured its application throughout the event and I
will have to keep a close eye on the number of
attendees ,as if they are higher in number than
expected , I will make some necessary and instant
adjustments. There will thousands of vendor options
for a single service in a city , I will need to scout them
according to my budget that is going to be time
consuming , it will difficult for me to choose the best
ones . I will need to make sure that restroom facilities
are provided at wedding venues. To hire the best
musicians, dancers will challenging for me . It will
necessary for me to ensure the better coordination
among the vendor staff . At last , I will need to
prepare financial report on the wedding , that’s the
most important thing.
I hope that all things will go in my favour and one day
I will become a country’s most valuable wedding
planner. I will write more on tomorrow .
