Dance Genre: An Overview
I. Introduction
Dance is the best way to heal your sadness and sometimes even becomes the best
friend of a person and dance forms are even distinguished based on the clothes, shoes and
music.
In this module, you will learn how to appreciate numerous dance forms from one
country to another, one state to another and even from one religion to another.
Well then, embrace yourselves and take a ride to the world of dance!

The word “dance” conjures up different Images for different people. Over the years,
dance has evoled into several distinct forms. Different styles of dance are distinguished by
many things such as shoes, music, and costumes. Dance seems to be a lot like ice cream
flavors… it’s so hard to choose just one.

If you are thinking of trying out a new dance style, there may be a few you haven’t even

many fun types of dance, you may need to sample a few to find your favorite.
